If you follow us on social media you’ll know that in October our posts were taken over by some kooky Allumer Pumpkins!
Celebrating Halloween in style, our #ALLUMERWEEN giveaway was a huge success.
After many people reposting our pumpkin, we are pleased to announce the winner is social media savvy, Alice Richardson. Here she is pictured in her #ALLUMERWEEN treat – a rose gold Allumette bell necklace!
We hope you love your Allumette bell and that it lights up your life!

Not only did we design a sculpture for the ME Hotel (created with 105 Allumette Bell Necklaces, check it out above!) which has already amassed a lot of interest, but we also held a live photo shoot at the hotels Radio Rooftop bar. With an amazing view overlooking London, it was definitely not a difficult work environment! Our photographer, Stefan Sieler, was a dream to work with as were our amazing models Sophie Fraser-Smith and Polina Logvin. We’ve made a sneak peak video of the shoot with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, keep an eye out for the final images! Until next time LFW!
On Thursday 4th July, ALLUMER attended the 2013 Jewellery Awards at the iconic Natural History Museum in London. Anybody who is anybody in the jewellery and fashion world attended the prestigious event, which celebrated 20 years of the most iconic and up-and-coming designers and brands. Our hard-working team at ALLUMER is honored that we were nominated alongside world-renowned jewellery brands and designers. Being a finalist at the Jewellery Awards helped us thoroughly enjoy our evening of delicious food and drink, wonderful guests/host and incredible jewellery!
The lovely and beautiful Dawn O’Porter was the host for the glamorous event and helped to make the night more entertaining and even better a wonderful speech from the editor of retail jewellery – Laura McCready. A total of 17 awards were presented and it was great to see everyone on the dance floor by the end of the evening for some well-deserved celebrations.
Natasha wore a wonderful array of ALLUMER chains in red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, violet and blue. Each chain had a different pendant including a RUBY BIRTHSTONE, a 9kt Gold ‘N,’ an ALPHALLUMER HEART, a large FLICKER OF LIGHT spinner and the MATCH ROYALE with diamond and precious faceted briolette (all available from www.allumer.co.uk).
The night was a success and already looking forward to next year!
On Tuesday 18th June Allumer attended a fundraising evening for ‘Diversity In Care’ at the Opera Gallery, London, to raise money for vulnerable women and their children in the UK. The event was hosted by trustee Lisa Moorish and featured an art auction and a luxury raffle fundraiser.
The charity fundraiser had fantastic donations from artists such as: surrealist Nancy Fouts, Zoe Grace, Natasha Law, Giles Curties, Oliver Clegg and a print by Rankin. The exclusive raffle with incredible prizes including designer clothes, art, spas days, nights in hotels and jewellery.
Allumer particularly loved the David Bowie inspired piece by artist Joe Black, shown above. The image was created using painted test tubes on aluminum. We thought the piece of art referenced our colourful ALLUMETTE BELLS.
Another memorable piece from the charity gala included this sculpture created my David Mach using matchsticks, which reminded us of our own ALLUMER MATCH collection.
Guests at the event included comedian Russell Brand, Noel Gallagher et al.
Between Friday 14th June and Sunday 16th June, Allumer showcased at Somerset House in London for the Treasure Jewellery event. This was the sixth Treasure event so far, and allowed you to buy some of the most exciting and vibrant jewellery from the UK.
It took place during Jewellery Week, and visitors could buy directly from the designers themselves. Held in Somerset House, overlooking the River Thames, the event had a great atmosphere, and set in the busy Strand – the place soon filled up. Visitors could choose from a huge range of pieces – from classic jewellery to wearable art and high fashion.
Celebrities such as Sophia Sassoon from the BAFTA award winning Made in Chelsea, Louise Redknapp, Gail Porter and Sophie Anderton visited our stand, and the event was said to have attracted the most visitors that it’s ever had! Our friends and jewellery designers also attended the event, which included: SHO, Lucy Q, Alexander Davies and Eastern Mystic.
Allumer could barely breathe, as we sold a large variety of our jewellery – the bells jingled away and the bestsellers of the day were our classics, as they’re a timeless piece and perfect gift.
